How much does lightbox signage cost in Singapore?
It depends on the size, the shape, and the face artwork. You will get a firm quote, usually within a day, before anything is made. Design is included, and installation is its own line so you can see exactly where the money goes.
Can a lightbox be a menu board?
Yes, and it is one of the best uses. A backlit menu stays readable all day and into the night, and when the menu changes the printed face can be swapped without replacing the whole box.
What shape do I need?
Wall mount is the classic storefront box. Ceiling hung floats above and lights both sides. Side mount projects from the wall so it reads down the walkway, which is also called a blade sign. L-shape wraps a corner, a cube reads from every direction, and a floor stand goes anywhere. Send a photo of the spot and we will recommend.
What is a frameless lightbox?
The acrylic face runs edge to edge with no visible border, so the glow bleeds softly at the sides. It is the most modern looking option. A slim aluminium frame is the standard, and it is more forgiving on uneven fascias.
Can I change the artwork later?
Yes. The face is a print inside a frame, so a new season, a new menu, or a rebrand usually means a new face, not a new sign.
How thick is a lightbox?
Box depth usually runs 80 to 100mm, and we confirm the exact figure in your quote. Deeper boxes spread the light more evenly across large faces.
Do I need a licence for a lightbox sign?
Indoor lightboxes like menu boards need no licence. Some shopfront signs facing public areas do need approval, and if yours does, we will flag it early and keep it simple.
How is a lightbox powered?
The LEDs inside run off a small driver that plugs into a normal power point. If there is no point near the sign, a licensed electrician can add one, and we will flag it before anything is made.
Can the sign go on a timer?
Yes. Set it once for business hours and forget it.
